Information about the retreat
Join our Spa for the Heart silent meditation retreat and let the beauty of the ancient woodland nourish your soul.
There will be quiet time to sit, unwind and reflect, with the opportunity to walk in ancient Charnwood Forest.
This retreat is open to all who are familiar with mindfulness and wishing to practice and work with a lead teacher with over 35 years’ experience.
Nanpantan Hall has a range of en-suite single rooms and large rooms with shared bathrooms many with stunning views.
There will be teaching from Suryacitta and Gaynor on themes such as:
Opening to your natural goodness - sinking into presence
How to get out of your head and into your heart
Working with difficulties
How to develop self-compassion and many more
There will be time for discussion and the option of small group time with Suryacitta and Gaynor to discuss your practice.
It is also suitable for teachers of mindfulness who wish to explore the subtleties of meditation and mindfulness for themselves.
There will be guidance on a variety of guided meditations including:
- Mindfulness of breathing
- Body Scan
- Choiceless Awareness
- Being in nature meditation and more

Our retreats are very popular and there are a limited number of spaces. So, it is important that any cancellations, or changes to bookings are made well in advance. If cancellations are made at least twenty-eight days prior to the start of the retreat you will receive a full refund minus the deposit. If less than twenty-eight days fifty per cent will be refunded.
