On our mindfulness courses, you will be taught by Suryacitta Malcolm Smith and Gaynor Quilter. Suryacitta is the author of five books on mindfulness and happiness and is one of the most experienced mindfulness teachers in the UK. He started practising mindfulness in 1989. Gaynor started practising in 2005 and teaches in a number of settings.
People who want to learn mindfulness with Suryacitta and Gaynor and live in the Derby area either attend an In-Person eight-week course, or decide to attend a three-day intensive mindfulness training weekend and stay locally in North West Leicestershire.
These In-Person and Online Mindfulness courses run from Friday to Sunday or Saturday to Monday.
Our mindfulness courses Derby are suitable for complete beginners and those with experience who wish to refresh or deepen their practice or just train with experienced teachers.
During the weekend you there will also be time for quiet time to relax, and for walking in beautiful Bradgate Park just a two-minute walk from the venue, which is nestled within ancient Charnwood Forest.
We also run mindfulness workshops for corporate clients either at the place of work or at our venue in Leicestershire. Please get in touch if you would like more information.
Attending one of our mindfulness courses Derby you will be taught a number of themes including:
The Jewel in the Ice – what mindfulness and how to do it
How to live in the body – not your over thinking mind
How to live in the present – not the past and future
How to calm the chattering mind
