Deep Looking Releasing Tension, Trauma And Held Emotions
Stop Trying To Fix Yourself - Six Weeks of Deep Looking Discovering Your Wholeness with Suryacitta - Online
I know something about you, I am not the only one who knows this, many hundreds of thousands of people know this too.
You also know this, but you may not realise you know it. What you may not have realised yet, is that you are already whole, complete, wondrous and full of joy.
Why don't you and many others get this?
Because you are fixated on your limiting beliefs about who you are. In other words you are believing the small self-centred thoughts which pass through your mind as the truth of who you are.
If this intrigues you? Then read on.

Trying to fix yourself is not part of the solution, it is the problem.
When you try to fix yourself do you know what exactly you are fixing? Has it really worked?
The Methods we will be using on this course are:
Self Inquiry - to release core beliefs and to realise your wholeness
Somatic Shaking - to release tension and mild trauma
Open Awareness - recognising your wholeness
Self Inquiry
Self Inquiry is used in two ways. We all have core beliefs about ourself and life. A few typical core beliefs are, I Am Not Good Enough, I Feel Unsafe, People Don't Like Me, I Can't...fill in your blank. These core beliefs run our lives and keep us feeling stuck. Through self Inquiry we are not trying to fix anything, because nothing is broken.
Self inquiry helps us simply see that we are holdingon to these core beliefs -this is enough to begin to weaken them.
Self Inquiry is also one of the methods we use to discover our natural wholeness. We will explore what obscures your natural wholeness and joy.
Somatic Shaking
When an animal encounters danger, immediately afterwards it naturally shakes to disperse the stress and tension which has built up. For dog owners -like us -this is frequently observed. Young children do it to but are soon "trained' out of it.
This shaking or tremoring is the body's natural way of dispersing and moving on. If this natural function is blocked or overridden then stress, tension and trauma can build up, leading to a multitide of problems. This keeps the nervous system on high alert and overactive.
This natural functioning of the body has not been lost. We can still do it. Somatic Shaking is a very simple method of allowing the body to shake out weeks, months, years and eventually decades of tension, stress and mild trauma.
Open Awareness
Open Awareness is often called Just Sitting or Serene Reflection. it is a meditation practised all over the Buddhist world. It is a way of relaxing into presence, into beingness itself. Beyond all beliefs, stories and the views we have of ourselves.
It is a meditation of welcoming absolutely everything arising, and letting it take its natural course of passing on. We practice non-interference.
Presence is another name for your wholeness. It is your true nature which is intuitive, loving and always at ease. It is untroubled by thoughts and emotions.
It is the simplest and most direct of meditations.
