Who pulling your strings? How Voice Dialogue can help you?
We have created our own internal security system, we have learnt to police our own boundaries, yet we know that there is much more to us than this holding that keeps us stuck.
In voice dialogue facilitation, we create a safe space so that you can get creative, open to your own unique gifts (that were always there) and end up a wiser self!
The process supports you to learn to unlock your own doors and windows, enabling greater self-awareness and emotional balance, which leads to more energy and the ability to make choices that serve you and increase your compassion for your self and your connection with those in your life
Make the commitment to knowing yourself more deeply and have some fun getting to know your many selves. Choose to live a life that has all of you in it, rather than being managed by a few dominate selves. As you access your hidden selves you gain more energy, you learn to trust your intuitive self and how it will continue to support you.
Through voice dialogue and individual practice exercises you will get a sense of how your dominant selves (or primary selves) appear in your life, how and why they function, the gifts they bring and the tyranny they can create.
You will also access the opposite energy, the hidden selves, banished but available, these can bring more ease, freedom and balance to your life.
“ The mindful coaching approach Gaynor takes is a very different one to programmes I’ve experienced before. Gaynor takes you on a deeper and more thorough examination of yourself rather than just looking at select issues. I felt the impact very quickly which had a positive effect but is also really useful for the long term and for all aspects of life. A fascinating, helpful and insightful journey.” Sharon McKee SEM communications, Newcastle UK
Voice dialogue is a process developed by Hal and Sidra Stone. What are the benefits? Enhanced Self-Awareness: By recognising and understanding their different selves, individuals gain deeper insights into their behaviours and motivations. Improved Relationships: Understanding the energetic dynamics between selves can lead to healthier interactions with others. Greater Flexibility: Developing an aware ego allows individuals to respond more adaptively to different situations rather than being driven by automatic reactions. Creativity and Fun: As you observe and notice how quickly your different selves “pull your strings” and make different choices Building and sustaining a compassionate mindfulness practice to help support your ongoing integration. Examples of more common primary and hidden selves: Primary selves can be - The pusher, The perfectionist, The pleaser, The responsible self, The rational mind, The inner critic, The seeker, The playful child. Hidden selves can be - The chilled one, The rebel, the Me first, The contented self, The angry self, The procrastinator and The vulnerable child. You will find their own unique name that helps you identify when they are active in your life.
Awareness - building our observer
What happens in a Voice Dialogue facilitation session?
We spent 90 minutes in a dialogue (talking) and listening to your different parts.
You sign up for 6 sessions which can be taken over a 6 month period* to support awareness and further integration of your many parts.
We start with exploring your primary selves, as your awareness of their energy and activity in your life increases more selves start to appear.
We use the sessions in a mindful way, as often the self that show up to the session is the one that wants your attention.
We use compassionate mindfulness practices and exercises to grow the power of your observer to support integration of your many selves and build your capacity to consciously access what you need in your daily life.
Experience:
Gaynor trained with John Kent, who trained with Hal and Sidra Stone.
Suryacitta 4th book - The Happiness and Contentment work book is based on exercises that help us explore our many selves in our relationships with others.
“I have gained an increased awareness of my personality, what is driving me, what is holding me back. Through voice dialogue, I have learned to notice my triggers and the way I talk to myself. With this awareness, an opening is created for choice: How do I want to talk to myself? How can I be more compassionate instead of more critical? How do I want to show up in the world? Another important aspect is learning the wisdom the body has for us. It knows so much, if only we stop to listen. All of this starts a process of change towards better stress management, more clarity on what is important. The change I have seen in myself is an opening towards self-acceptance and an increased openness and curiosity instead of hard judgement. I recognise my emotions and thought processes, which allows me to deal with them and grow." Alessandra Bortolussi, Verona, Italy
